Willard Wallace Wright

Willard Wright of Inola went home to join his family on June 26, 2012. Willard was a loving husband and father. He was born on December 15, 1927. He married Verna on October 14, 1944 and they had four children; LeEarl Wright of Inola, Judy Riley of Corpus Christi, Ann Simmons of Tulsa and David Wright. He was a faithful member of Gregory Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Willard worked hard and held down many jobs to support his family. He enjoyed a long career as a supervisor at Rockwell International where he retired. He enjoyed many hobbies over his lifetime: bowling, raising cattle, gardening, fishing and he loved to follow the stock market.

Willard is survived by his brother Robert Wright of Inola; his aunt Hazel Beasley of Rogers, Arkansas; his son LeEarl Wright (Donna); daughters Judy Riley and Ann Simmons; daughter-in-law Linda Coatney; his grandchildren Jody Lee (Marta), Denise Barrett, Jerry Wright (Trish), David Wright (Lyndsey), Ginger Coffey (Rob), Steven Simmons (Jacquita), Sadie McKinney (John), Jesse Wright (Holli), Woody Riley and Jennifer Abplanalp (Scott). He is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren.

Willard was preceded in death by his wife Verna, his son David Wright, His brother Forest Wright and his parents Jesse and Emily Wright.
