With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Aaron Park Shelton, who departed this world on February 29, 2024. Aaron, a beloved resident of Claremore, Oklahoma, and native of Casper, Wyoming, graced the lives of those around him with his boundless energy, infectious laughter, and unwavering passion for life.
Born on December 12, 1982, in the rugged beauty of Casper, Wyoming, Aaron was a cherished son, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, and dedicated servant to his country. Over nearly 20 years, he served as an RV Technician, showcasing his expertise and dedication in every task. However, his 13 years in the Air National Guard and Air Force ignited his true passion for aviation and love for his country.
Aaron's love for the outdoors was evident from a young age. He found solace and joy in nature's embrace, whether casting lines on tranquil waters, tracking game through the wilderness, shredding the slopes on a snowboard, or simply soaking in the natural wonders surrounding him.
Aaron's love for life extended beyond the wilderness; he also loved to listen to and play music. His natural ear for music and exceptional talent as a guitarist brought joy to all who had the privilege of listening to him play. Aaron's passion for live music and concerts was unmatched, and he reveled in the shared experiences with fellow music enthusiasts, friends, family, and, most often, his dad.
Beyond his outdoor adventures and musical pursuits, Aaron's heart overflowed with kindness and generosity. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile, compassionate spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. Aaron's generosity knew no bounds, whether lending a helping hand to a friend in need or even strangers.
Aaron leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He is survived by his loving parents, Gaylyn and Brad Shelton; his devoted brother, Levi Shelton, and sister-in-law, Jocelyn Lai; his adored niece and light of his life, Jupiter Rae Shelton; his grandparents, Carolyn Womack, Michael Bond, and Patricia Williams; his aunts and uncles, Jana and Brady Robbins and Natalie and Bryan Shelton; and many beloved cousins.
