Adam Smart, 36, of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away on August 7, 2018. He was born on July 17, 1982 to Dan and Debi Smart. Adam worked for Koss Construction, building highways. Adam loved music and playing his upright bass. He sat on five state champion jazz bands at Verdigris. Adam also spent time at Wild Heart Ranch, where he helped care for the many animals. Wild Heart held a special place in his heart.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents Ernie and Jessie Lou Smart, and Ruth Stuckey. He is survived by his wife Christie, step-children, Greyson and Madilyn McGraw, parents Dan and Debi, sister Stephanie and B.J., Opela, nephews Preston and Bennet, of Dardenne Prairie, MO, grandfather Jim Stuckey, Ponder, TX, uncle Ernie and Beverly Smart of Tulsa, aunt Connie Stuckey of Cape Girardeau, MO, and many cousins.
There will be an informal Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 2-4 p.m., at the Verdigris High School Band Room located at 26505 S. 4110 Rd., Claremore, OK.
