Alfred Storie was born April 8, 1927, in Farris, Oklahoma to Jess and Doll (Hall) Storie. He attended school in Farris. Alfred led a remarkable life filled with dedication to his faith, family, and service.

Alfred's journey in life was marked by his commitment to various roles. He was a proud Navy veteran who served during WWII. Following his military service, he pursued a career as an Iron Worker, however, it was his calling to the ministry that truly defined his legacy. For an impressive 67 years, Alfred served as an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. His impactful preaching took him to different congregations including Atoka, Battiest, Lone Chapel, and Geary before returning to Lone Chapel where he continued to inspire and lead.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Alfred found joy in simple pleasures. He had a green thumb and took immense pride in cultivating a large garden spanning half an acre. Generous at heart, he graciously shared the bounty of his harvest with anyone who crossed his path. His love for nature extended to raising cattle and cherishing moments spent with his beloved family.

Alfred's dedication was also evident in his personal life. In 1948, he married his childhood sweetheart, Flora "Charlene" Lytle with whom he celebrated 72 beautiful years together until her passing in 2020. His enduring love for Charlene was a testament to their bond that transcended time.
