Allen Stout

Fay Allen Stout, 79, of Claremore, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness on March 21, 2025. Allen was born on May 29, 1945, in Atascadero, California to Fay and Ruth Stout. Allen grew up all over Oklahoma and graduated from Zaneis High School in 1963. He then went to Oklahoma State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1968. It was there that he met and married Judy Lewis. Together they had two daughters, Melody and Monica. Many years later he married Tia Williams on July 2, 1999, and they blended their families into one.

Before Allen started his career, he voluntarily enlisted into the Marines in 1968 but was medically discharged shortly after due to an unexpected injury. Allen’s professional career started as a Human Resources director for the Oklahoma State Employment Service, Hesston Corporation, and then Nicor Drilling. But he found his calling and began his Real Estate career in 1984. He soon after, started his first company, Showplace Real Estate and in 1989 started First Team, which later changed to OklaHomes Realty. He was a gentle giant in the Real Estate industry serving on many committees and the Board of Directors as well as President of Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. He was always guided by the principle of doing the right things for the right reasons and was greatly respected by all. Allen was a loyal member of Verdigris United Methodist Church. He was always faithful to the church throughout his life, serving on numerous committees and as a confirmation mentor.

Allen loved being “Daddy” to Melody, Monica, Adrienne and Cody. He would always be there to listen and give sound guidance. He also enjoyed his role of “Papa” to his grandchildren, Jordan, Scout, Willow, Harper and Vivian. Fishing with Jordan and boating with the girls were special times for him.

Allen will be remembered by his devotion to the church, sense of humor, and generous nature. He loved to talk about sports especially if it was his beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Allen is survived by his wife, Tia; children, Monica Burks and her husband Brent of Tulsa, Adrienne Johnson of Claremore, and Cody Williams and his wife Carly of Alva; grandchildren, Jordan Overson, Scout and Willow Johnson, and Harper and Vivian Williams; sister, Donna Ramsey and husband Roy of Leavenworth, Kansas..

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Ruth Stout and daughter, Melody Lou Stout.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home from 1:00-7:00 pm with family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 pm.
