Alma Annabelle Brunson

Funeral service for Alma Annabelle Brunson will be 2 p.m., Fri., Aug. 10, at Church of God Seventh Day. Burial will follow at Sweeten Cemetery, Inola, under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 1-8 p.m.

Alma died Wed., Aug. 8, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore at the age of 84.

The daughter of A.L. and Ada L. (Fraley) Ingram was born March 1, 1928, in Muscotah, KS. Alma attended school in Horton, KS. After graduation, she went to work as a nurse in local doctor's offices and hospital. She later moved to California, and in the mid 80's moved to Oklahoma to take care of Mrs. Hinds. On July 20, 1987, Alma married Aaron Leonard Brunson at the Church of God Seventh Day in Claremore. Alma was a retired doctor's office clerk. She enjoyed making doll clothes, and made them for the dolls of the church kids. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, and dancing.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bob, Leonard, and Joe Ingram; and sister, Edna Palmer.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard of the home; children: Joseph Fulk and Nancy Lacey Davison; step-children: Elijah Brunson, David Brunson, Estell Brunson, and Amy Dark and their families; sister, Mary Sue Saftt of Hutchinsonville, KS; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
