Alma "Gene" Clagg

Service for Alma Imogene "Gene" Clagg will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Blue Star Church of Christ in Claremore. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home. Gene passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in Frisco, Texas. She was 93 years old. She was born on December 22, 1924, to parents Roy Wylie Sutton and Ila T. Sutton (Adams). After graduating high school, Gene met Glen Lester Clagg, They eventually were married on December 28, 1945 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Gene was a long time member of the Blue Star Church of Christ in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Gene is survived by her daughters Diane Cruz and her husband Tony of Little Elm, Texas, and Glenda Whitt of Kent, Washington; brothers Loyd Sutton and his wife Alice of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cecil Sutton and his wife Ruby of Kansas, and Roy Sutton of Bella, Missouri, and sister O'Leta Thomas. Also 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by her husband Glen, son Dennis Clagg, and sister Edith Leeth.
