Alvin Lewis was born on August 29, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lena, Kay Lewis and Rodney Conrad Lewis. Alvin unexpectedly left his life on July 2, 2024 at the age of 46.
Alvin didn't call Tulsa his home though he moved around as a kid he made his home and Claremore. Alvin got his GED and went on to get his medical assistant and phlebotomist license in September, 1997. He met the love of his life Heather Elaine Yates they married on October 18, 1999. Alvin and Heather had four children, Jessica, Abram, Zackery, and Elizabeth.
Alvin never stayed at one job too long not because he was a bad employee, but because he always wanted to learn a new skill and wasn’t gonna stop until he found something he absolutely loved. Although he never stuck with one company, he liked the American Red Cross and CNC machine jobs the most. You could find Alvin hunting fishing, lending a hand spending time with his family or watching his favorite show dateline. Alvin was a very kind and forgiving man never holding a grudge. He was always willing to put others first especially his family. Everyone who knew him always had something great to say about him. He was always there when you needed him whether it was to just listen or provide a helping hand. Alvin was a beloved husband, father, brother, and hehaw, to his grandkids. Alvin loved his whole family, but he loved his wife Heather the most they were each other‘s better half. They always pushed each other to do better things and they had a special kind of love that will never end.
Everyone who met Alvin will miss him, but not as much as wife Heather Lewis of Claremore. His children, Jessica Usry and husband, Kyle, Zachery Lewis and wife Dalton, both of Claremore, Elizabeth Drake and husband, Hunter of Nebraska. Grandkids Alexis, and Braxton Newman Ava Usry, all of Claremore, Fisher drake of Nebraska. Siblings Jason Lewis, and wife Dessera of Foyil, Timothy, Lewis, and wife Krystal of Claremore, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Though he may be gone, he will not be forgotten. He lives on through our hearts and stories.
He is preceded in death by his son, Abram, parents, Leana and Rodney Lewis, and his sister Christie.
