Visitation for Amber Shields will be held from 1-8 p.m., Monday, December 27, 2021 at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home.
Amber Michelle Shields passed away on December 21st, 2021 at the age of 39.
The daughter of William Shields and Reva (Decker) Hayes was born September 2nd, 1982 in Claremore, Oklahoma. As a young girl she lived in the Claremore area, and attended Oologah Schools. She was a member of the graduating class of 2000. After graduating Amber concentrated on raising her family. Eventually she would return to work. She worked as a dispatcher for Rogers Country and for Collinsville Police Department, and as a employee for the Hard Rock Casino.
In her spare time she had many hobbies and pastimes. She enjoyed fishing, barrel racing, and square dancing on horseback. As she became older her enjoyment came from watching her children in their events.
Survivors include her parents, William Shields and Reva Hayes; children, Isacc Shields and wife Morgan, Shyleigh West and husband Kyle, Jacelynn Shields, Kenedi Shields-Guess and Naya Batt; granddaughter, Shakota Shields; brother, Ken Guess and wife Kellie; aunt, Robbin Kindle; uncle, Rodney Decker and wife, Karen along with many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
