Annette Marie Sneath, age 79, passed away February 16, 2019 at her home in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on February 22, 1939, in Okeene, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Walter and Lydia (Karbel) Dobrinski.
Annette graduated from Shallow Water High School in Kansas in 1957. On October 18, 1958, she married Glen Eldon Sneath in Scott City, Kansas. She lived in Meade, Kansas, then Liberal, Kansas, and then moved to Scott City, Kansas, where she babysat and later started the Pick A' The Patch in 1979. In 1985, she moved to Pryor, Oklahoma, to open up Popingo Video, which she ran until 1998. She moved to Claremore and started Okie Steakhouse, which was open from 1995 to 2005. She also worked at the Will Rogers Memorial Gift Shop from 2007 to 2018.
Survivors include her husband Glen Sneath of the home, son Bruce Sneath and wife Paula of Scott City, Kansas, daughter Melissa Lorg and husband Joe of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandchildren Christopher, Nicola, Todd, Ian, Amanda, and Amber; great-grandchildren Jarron, Riley, Bryton, Brayden, Micala, Julie, Easton, Annice, Chase, Finnley, Riley, Paxton, and Adaline; and sisters Virginia Ramsey of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Verlene Stoppel of Scott City, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Rick Sneath, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, February 22, 2019, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel in Claremore, Oklahoma. Rev. Andy Nichols will officiate. Annette will be laid to rest at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas, at a later date.
