Funeral service for Antolino Rexach will be 1 p.m., Tues., Sept. 30, at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Antolino passed away Sat., Sept. 27, 2014, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 50.
The son of Bolivar and Ana Maria (Julia) Rexach was born Nov. 12, 1963, in Bronx, NY. Antolino graduated from Lehman High School where he played soccer. He then went to work for Republic National Bank where he worked in the microfiche department. In 1987, he went to work for the New York City Department of Corrections. He retired after 20 years of service. Antolino was proud to have volunteered at Ground Zero. On March 25, 1995, he married Precilla Flores after meeting on a blind date at New York City's Botanical Gardens. They moved to Chelsea in 2001. Antolino enjoyed fishing, video games, soccer, and cheering on his favorite baseball team, New York Mets. He also loved cooking.
Antolino is preceded in death by his mother, Ana Maria.
He is survived by his wife, Precilla of the home; children: Anthony Rexach of Bronx, NY, Daniel Rexach of Chelsea, and Justin Frenando Rexach of Chelsea; father, Bolivar Rexach, Sr. of Bronx, NY; brothers: Bolivar Rexach, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Brooklyn, NY, and Israel Rexach and wife, Ellie of Melborne, FL; sisters: Eunice Rivera and husband, Ceci of Bronx, NY, Anna Harris and husband, Paul of Long Island, NY, and Nellie Roman and husband, George of Long Island, NY; grandson, Enoch Rexach; granddaughter, Star Rexach; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anagrisel and Pedro Brito; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
