Memorial service for Arlene Pearce Foster will be 2 p.m., Wed., June 22, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Father Paul Eichhoff officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa.
Arlene died Wed., June 15, 2011, at Claremore Nursing Home at the age of 93.
The daughter of Robert Burt and Rhoda Francis (Hughes) Pearce was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Madill. On August 21, 1935, in Winfield, KS, Arlene married John Cardona. They made their home in Tulsa. John passed away on June 1, 1964. Arlene married Melvin P. Foster on August 30, 1968, in Pryor. They made their home in Coweta. He passed away on Jan. 9, 1998. Arlene loved taking care of her home. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, and loving her dogs and cat.
She is survived by her daughters: Donna P. Watson and husband, Wayne of Lawton, and Anne M. Campbell and husband, William A of Claremore; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husband's, John Cardona and Melvin P. Foster; her parents; brother, Charlie H. Pearce; sister, Edith Pearce; and an infant sister.
