Funeral service for Audrey Mae Bradshaw will be 11 a.m., Tues., May 24, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jay McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m.
Audrey died Fri., May 20, 2011, at her home at the age of 92.
The daughter of William Colombus and Edna Mae (Bean) Casey was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Kanima, OK. She attended Justis and Owalla schools. In 1937, Audrey married James Alfred "Al" Bradshaw. She was a homemaker and seamstress, working at several local clothing factories. She also helped on the farm and with the cattle. Audrey enjoyed gardening. She was a Gold Star Mother due to her son, David, being killed in action in Vietnam in 1968.
Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Al; sons: David and Bill; granddaughter, Carla; brother, Virgil Casey; 2 half-brothers; and 4 half-sisters.
She is survived by children: Danny George Bradshaw and wife, Jeanne of Chelsea, Jerry Jean Bradshaw and wife Carol of Pennsylvania, Larry Dean Bradshaw and wife, Sue of Utah, Sarah Darlene Higeons and husband, Bill of Claremore, Connie Mae Ruth Stritzke and husband, Kenney of Lenapah, and Marilyn Ahnawake McCamish and husband, Robert of Chelsea; half-sister, Betty Windham of California; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
