A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 p.m., at the Coweta First Baptist Church Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Inola Funeral Home, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. family will great friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Aurelia Faye Woodward passed away on July 23, 2022 she was 84 years old.
She was born to William Ray Denton and Emma Snowden Denton in Coweta, Oklahoma on December 5th, 1937. Growing up she attended Coweta public schools and graduated in the class of 1955. Shortly after high school she met Wendell Woodward through a mutual friend and married on December 5th, 1958. the two settled down and created a life in Broken Arrow, Ok. Aurelia and Wendell were always heavily involved in the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. She had a love for taking care of children. She helped run the preschools in the Broken Arrow Baptist church and also baby sat most of those kids outside of school as well. Her house was always an open door to anyone that needed a place to stay. She always loved to cook and eat for her family and her church family. Aurelia and Wendell made sure that they always took their kids and grandkids on a vacation once a year some of their favorite destinations were Colorado, California, and Florida. She loved her family whole heartily.
She is preceded in death by parents, William Denton and Emma Denton; husband Wendell Woodward, daughter Wendy Woodward and brothers Donald and Dwight Denton.
Aurelia is survived by her daughters, Robbin Porter and husband Dale, and Elizabeth Crosby and husband Gregg; grandchildren Chris and Lisa Porter, Nickie and Josh Cagle,Tara Crosby, Brooke Crosby, Baylee Crosby, Mckenzie Crosby, Erica Crosby, Cruise Crosby, Brystol Crosby. great grandchildren Luna Reyes, Sontiago Reyes, and Roman Reyes, Heidi Disler, Aunisty Keene and multiple honorary grand kids.
