Graveside service for Belinda Hitchcock will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home in Claremore.
Belinda Kaye Hitchcock passed away on September 21st, 2022 at the age of 63.
The daughter of Marion and Mary (Dykes) Hitchcock was born January 19th, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a young girl she would grown up in the Tulsa area. There she would eventualy attend Webster High School. She would then begin her working career as a teller at First National Bank of Tulsa. Over the next several years, Belinda would work to help support her and her three daughters. They were the center of her life, and she was proud to consider herself a homemaker.
In her spare time Belinda had many things she enjoyed. She loved spending time outdoors. It didn't matter if it was camping or just sitting on the front porch. She loved to cook, and always enjoyed trying to copy recipes from popular restaurants. However it was her family that made her the happiest. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and her siblings is what she looked forward to the most.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Hitchcock; and brothers, Leroy and Charles Hitchcock.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Hayhurst, Alisha Hayhurst, Samantha Hayhurst-Wendt and husband Chris, and step-daughter, Terra Shelton; grandchildren, Kayla, Nataleigh, Raina, Shon, Destiny, Maegan, Matthew, Maevalyn, Daxton, Cobe, Cale, Kari, Cade, and Khari; great-grandson, Grayson, and siblings, Ramella Hitchcock-Bossler, Rogers Hitchcock, and Bobby Hitchcock.
