Beulah Vina Sampson

Funeral service for Beaulah Vina Sampson will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7, at Owalla Baptist Church with Rev. David Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. and Wed. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends Wed. 6-8 p.m.

Beaulah died Sun., April 3, 2011, at Rolling Hills Care Center, Catoosa, at the age of 84.

The daughter of Owen and Willard Grace (Moss) Holland was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Tahlequah. Beaulah was a homemaker most of her life, and worked at Walmart for 10 years. She was a member of Owalla Baptist Church; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising cattle.

Beaulah was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Elijah Sampson; parents; sister, Vergie Weddle; and an infant brother.

She is survived by her son, Jack R. Sampson and wife, Rita of Claremore; grandchildren: Craig A. Sampson and wife, Ashlee of Claremore, and Justina Clark of Owasso; great-grandson, Elijah Webster; brother-in-law, Troy Weddle of Claremore; sisters-in-law, Donna Kinsey of Owasso, and Brenda Barrett of Broken Arrow; and numerous nieces and nephews.
