Memorial service for William Eugene "Bill" Love will be 2 p.m., Fri., Jan. 9, at the Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel.
Bill passed away Tues., Dec. 30, 2014, at his home at the age of 64.
The son of Leon and Charley Ann (Rudrow) Love was born Sept. 6, 1950, in Jenks. Bill graduated from Jenks High School in 1968, and continued his education at Oklahoma State University. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, and worked in construction as a bricklayer and stone mason. On Jan. 20, 1995, he married Janet Elaine Cotner in Eureka Springs, AR. Bill loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting in Colorado, and playing golf. He also loved reading and spending time with his daughter.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, April.
He is survived by his wife, Janet of the home; daughter, Audrey Love Manley and husband, Adam of Chelsea; uncle, Carroll Love of Chelsea; sisters; Linda Dugger and husband, Doug of Broken Arrow, and Annette Peters of Steele, MO; nieces: Michelle Love of South Carolina, and Amy Smith of Tulsa; great-niece, Allie Mitchell of Stillwater; and many friends and extended family members.
