Funeral service for Billie Dee Malone will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Sam Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m .

Billie passed away Tues., Jan. 19, 2016, at Wood Manor at the age of 89.

The daughter of John Wesley Gribble and Mamie Geneva (Cantrell) Gribble Hanna was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Chambersville, TX. She graduated from Frisco High School in Frisco, TX, and attended college in Denton. On Feb. 10, 1947, Billie married Bobby Malone in Dallas, TX. Billie retired in 1988 from Claremore Regional Hospital where she was a respiratory therapy technician; and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Claremore.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby in 1985; her parents; sister, Eva Viola King; and brother-in-law, Tommy King.

She is survived by her children: John M. Malone and wife, Shelia of Claremore, Joel T. Malone and wife, Tammy of Claremore, and Patricia A. Michielssen and husband, Jeff of Metlakatla, AK; grandchildren: Justin Malone, Michael Hunter Malone and wife, Josie, Mollie Malone Brown and husband, Jeff, Sarah Malone, and Tracey Richards and husband, Andy; great-grandchildren: Konnor Malone, Adam Brown, Adrian Spencer, Madilyne Norman, Emery Richards, and Cash Richards; and nieces: Janet King of Dallas, TX, and Joyce King of Orlando, FL.
