Billy Charles Francis

Service for Billy Charles Francis will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 4 from 2pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm-8pm. Billy passed away at his home on Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was 74.

Born in Claremore, Oklahoma to William R. and Wilma C. (Lewis) Francis, Billy attended school at Sequoyah. Following his graduation, he continued his education by attending a technical school for about a year. Billy worked many years for McDonnell Douglas as an aircraft mechanic. When he wasn't hard at work, you could find Billy at home enjoying his family. He also liked working on small engines.

Those family members that survive include his wife of 40 years Teresa M. Francis; his children Fred M. Minor and Dede and Concha Reyes and Martin; his grandchildren Max Reyes and Valentina Reyes; his brother Roger Francis and John; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Luz Minor.
