Service for Billy Glen Moore was 11:00 am, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. Billy passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was 94.

The son of Van and Mary Brooks Moore was born March 10, 1923 in Noel, Missouri. As a young boy he was raised in Bronaugh, Missouri. There he attended Bronaugh High School, graduating with the class of 1941. Shortly after graduation, Billy joined the United States Navy. Upon his discharge, he returned home, and married Mary Fairchild. To this marriage two children were born. He made his way to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he began working for DX Sun Ray. After 38 years of service, Billy retired from Sun Oil Comapany formerly DS Sun Ray.

May 23, 1968 Billy married Nadine Moore. They made thier home in Tulsa before building thier home in Verdigris in the late 1960's.

In his spare time Billy had many hobbies. He loved collecting agate marbles, watching his favorite sporting teams, dancing, and even coaching little league baseball. However, his favorite pastttime was hunting, raccoon hunting especially. Red Bone hounds were his favorite, and he traveled all over the United States with his dogs.

Billy left behind a son, Larry W. Moore, and a daughter, Gwen R. Sneed, a step-son, Darrell Robison, step-daughter, Elaine Phillips, 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Cooper, Aaron Sneed, Leslie Moore, Lisa McGinnis, and 2 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great- grandchildren. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred "Nadine" Moore, his parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
