Graveside service for Billy Jack Sumrall will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. Billy passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. He was 81.
Billy was born June 10, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Daniel and Nina (Mizell) Sumrall. He attended school in many different areas and when he was 16, with special permission, Billy joined the Marine Corps.
Following his discharge, Billy began working as a truck driver. He was employed with several different trucking companies and even worked as an owner himself. When he wasn't hard at work, Billy could be found hunting or fishing.
Those family members that preceded him in death include his parents and 14 siblings.
Billy is survived by his wife Patricia Sumrall of their home; his sons Michael Sumrall and Kristopher Sumrall; his grandchildren Zach, Abby, and Annabell; his brother Bob Sumrall, and many nieces and nephews.
