Bob Krause

Graveside service for William Robert “Bob” Krause will be 10 a.m., Tues., May 20, at Sweeten Cemetery with Brother Doug Boling officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Inola Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m.

Bob passed away Fri., May 16, 2014, at Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 74.

The son of William “Bill” and Geneva (Clark) Krause was born Dec. 11, 1939, in Inola. Bob graduated from Inola High School in 1959. After high school he went to work at the sod farm with his parents. On Dec. 21, 1968, he married Patricia Ilene McManus in Jenks, and they made their home in Inola. Bob retired from Slagle Manufacturing after 20 years of service. He later went to work for Amarillo Cabinets in Catoosa for several years. Bob enjoyed being involved with the softball association his daughter’s played for. He also enjoyed playing soccer with his son during a local father and son soccer game. In 2010, after his wife passed away, Bob moved to Claremore. When he was younger, Bob enjoyed taking care of horses. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling in his spare time.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 2008, and his parents.

He is survived by his children: Don Krause and wife, Tammy of Bartlesville, Kim Krause of Texas, and Melissa Krause of Independence, KS; sister, Gertrude Riddle and husband, Clarence of Inola; grandchildren: Derrick Krause, Robert Krause, Darryl McGowan, Colton Krause, and Callie Krause; and close friend, Bonnie McLaughlin and her son, Clayton Simpson.
