Bob Carl Roden

Bob C. Roden Bob Roden loved his family, fancy boots, cowboy hats, rodeo, good horses, flashy cars and his trademark cigar. A resident of Claremore more than half his life as a banker and community contributor, he died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the age of 82 after a long illness. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions to Will Rogers Memorial Foundation to help support a place close to his heart and honoring his friendship with the Rogers’ family. Donations may be sent to Will Rogers Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 2606, Claremore, OK 74018. Surviving Roden are his wife, Mary Lee; son, Rodne and Joyce of Claremore; grandchildren, Rodne II (Boots) and Julie of Kingston, and Kassie Sallis and Jaylee of Muskogee; and great-grandchildren, Rodrick Ryder Roden of Kingston and Samantha Brackett of Muskogee.
