Bob C. Roden
Bob Roden loved his family, fancy boots, cowboy hats, rodeo, good horses, flashy cars and his trademark cigar.
A resident of Claremore more than half his life as a banker and community contributor, he died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the age of 82 after a long illness.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions to Will Rogers Memorial Foundation to help support a place close to his heart and honoring his friendship with the Rogers’ family. Surviving Roden are his wife, Mary Lee; son, Rodne and Joyce of Claremore; grandchildren, Rodne II (Boots) and Julie of Kingston, and Kassie Sallis and Jaylee of Muskogee; and great-grandchildren, Rodrick Ryder Roden of Kingston and Samantha Brackett of Muskogee.
