The son of Willie and Mary Reimer Berg was born February 18, 1940 in Inola, Oklahoma. As a young boy he was raised in the Inola area. There he began attending Inola schools before moving to western Oklahoma to attend Corn Bible Academy, and then to California to Reedly Bible School. Bob began working for the Penner clan, following the harvest in western Oklahoma. There he first met Norma Penner at a family reunion. They married in Orland, CA on November 27, 1958. Over the next few years Bob worked the local rice fields, at a local feed mill, and later for Culligan Soft Water. After 13 years of service for Culligan he left there due to a vehicular malfunction. In 1979 Bob and his family moved to Medford, Oregon. There he began working for the First Baptist Chruch of Medford. He retired there as a maintenance supervisor in 2001. In 2003 he and Norma moved to Inola to be near their daughter and care for his sister. Once in Inola he became active with Calvary Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering with small wood projects. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, RFD TV, and rodeos. He was a man known for his big smile, and will be missed by all.
