Bryce Richard Phillips passed away April 16, 2016 at the age of 5.
The son of Drew and Janna Jones Phillips was born August 24, 2010 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Bryce was always a very kind and caring person. Ever since he was old enough to walk, he enjoyed picking wildflowers and giving them not only to his family, but to random people nearby. You could tell by the smile on his face how much compassion he had for others.
Bryce’s favorite color was orange. He had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed playing basketball, football, soccer, baseball and riding his four wheeler. Most recently he even took up kayaking. Of course with all the activities he enjoyed, he loved to run. In fact just recently he became part of the 25 mile club at Catalayah Elementary. He was so proud to have achieved this goal and receive his 25 mile medal.
Spending time with his family is what Bryce treasured most. He loved swimming with his sister and playing superhero's with dad…and of course Bryce had to be Batman. He also loved playing football with his dad and sister Taylor in the living room. He loved to be in the kitchen helping his mom cook, and he never wasted an opportunity to dance with her expressing unconditional joy. Bryce’s fun loving spirit came out during his many wrestling matches with his grandparents, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Martha and Richard Harding and maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Jones, and cousin Hunter Billbe.
Survivors include his parents Drew and Janna Phillips; sister, Taylor Phillips; paternal grandparents, Billy and Nina Phillips and Jim and Toni Billbe, and paternal great-grandmother, Vivian Billbe; maternal grandparents, Thomas S. Jones and Rosemary Carrillo; maternal great-grandfather, Thomas P. Jones; uncles, Nick Phillips, Shane Billbe and wife Tina, Jack Harding and wife Lynn and Rick Harding and wife Dee; aunts, Ashley Jones and fiancé Daniel Ragan, cousins, Holden Billbe and Reese Jones-Ragan along with many other extended family and friends.
