To honor Carol's remarkable life and share cherished memories, A service will be held on Monday July 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM to at The MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.

 Carol Sue Anderson, lovingly known as "Memaw", passed away on July 25, 2023, in Chelsea. She was born on January 5, 1946, in Hanna, Wyoming. Carol led a remarkable and fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories for all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Carol was a woman of many talents and accomplishments. She devoted her life to being a preacher's wife, professional seamstress, and tax accountant. Her dedication and commitment to her various roles were evident in all aspects of her life. 

Carol attended Welston Public Schools, where she graduated in 1963. Throughout her schooling years, she demonstrated a strong work ethic and a hunger for knowledge that would fuel her future successes.

However, it was the qualities that made Carol such an exceptional person that will be remembered most fondly. She was a selfless individual who loved and cared deeply for her children her family meant the world to her. A resilient Christian woman with strong values, Carol exemplified unwavering faith throughout her life. Her determination and hardworking nature allowed her to conquer any challenge she set her mind to. Beyond her professional pursuits, Carol enjoyed a range of hobbies and interests. She found great joy in traveling, spending quality time with her family at the lake, going on scenic drives in the car. Gardening and nurturing beautiful flowers were passions that brought Carol immense satisfaction. She also cherished caring for her beloved chickens and turkeys.

Carol leaves behind a profound legacy through the love she shared with her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband Thomas Anderson; loving daughters Ladonna Moore (Clifford), Tresa Snyder (Tommy), Rita Shaw (Clay); sisters Sheral Danker (George), Donna Evans (Larry), Judy Elliott; cherished grandchildren Brandon Moore, Jessica Moore, Heather Trujillo, Tiffany Snyder, Britney Hoffman, Tosha Parrish, and Amber Remington; as well as 12 wonderful great-grandchildren. 

Carol Sue Anderson was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Ennis and Alice Ennis, her son Tracy Anderson, sister Rita Coleen Ennis, brother David Ennis, and brother-in-law Glenn Elliott. Carol Sue Anderson touched the lives of many with her kindness, determination, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
