Carolyn L. Robbins passed away at her home on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the age of 70. Private family services planned.
Born on November 30, 1943 in Pampa, Texas to Jacob Allison and Mildred Lucille (Dunham) Smith, Carolyn attended school in Shidler, Wynona and Pawhuska. She moved to Claremore in 1972 and this has been home since.
Carolyn worked for M&M Mini Mart as a store clerk for 11 years before becoming a nurses aide. She was employed with the Claremore Veterans Center, retiring in 2008 after 12 years of faithful service.
When she was not hard at work, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also found time for shopping, something Carolyn always took time for.
This mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be missed by all that knew her. Those family members that survive include her daughters Carrie Myers, Jamie Knapp and Kelly Lyons all of Claremore; her grandchildren Ashley Budgick, Justin and Brandon Knapp; her great grandchildren Kayla Robbins, Daisy Budgick, Hailey Budgick and Avery Budgick; her brother William A. Smith and wife Paula of Iowa. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth Wayne Smith and Donald Gene Smith and her infant daughter Tamara Rae McGrew.
