Services for Carolyn Trude will be 2:00p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at United Pentecostal Church, her pastor, Reverend Nance and Linda McGowan will officiate. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 15 from 1pm--8pm. Carolyn passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the age of 65.
Carolyn Jean Trude was born October 24, 1949 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Ray Olive and Sarah Lorene (Copeland) Ball. She was reared and educated in Chelsea and it was while attending school, Carolyn met David Trude. On March 28, 1970 the couple married and made their home in Chelsea with the exception of a short time in Claremore.
An active member of the United Pentecostal Church, Carolyn loved her church and took every opportunity to volunteer as often as she could. She loved children and enjoyed babysitting for different families in the area. Carolyn was one who loved to help and often extended a hand to anyone in need.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Carolyn will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her husband, David of their home in Chelsea; her daughters Cindy Trude of Chelsea, Amy Bradley and husband Josh also of Chelsea and son David Trude, Jr. and wife Sherry of Ohio; her grandchildren Abby, Blake, Jase, Shana and Steven; her sisters Sharon Wilson of South Carolina and Linda Wilson of Chelsea; her brothers Reggie Ball of Muskogee and Daryl Ball of Chelsea. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Curtis Ball
