Graveside service for Charles Wayne Potter will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday May 10, 2010 at the Chelsea Cemetery. Rick Lairmore will officiate. Burial will be under the direction of the Chelsea Funeral Home and Crematory.
Charles Potter passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 in Tulsa at the age of 54.
The son of Charlie and JoEllen Palone Potter was born January 15, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised in the Tulsa area, he attended Tulsa Public Schools. Later he began working in the construction industry. He worked until his health forced him to retire. His hobbies included motorcycles, golf, fishing, and playing country and western music on his guitar. However most important to him was spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Potter and JoEllen Widows, and brother Roger Potter.
Survivors include his children, Christie Roach and husband Steve of Langley, Tina Harper and husband Gerald of Langley and Sarah Potter of Texas; brothers, Johnny Marvin Potter of Tulsa, and Carey Lynn Potter and wife Sharon of Tulsa, Donnie Jones of Foyil, Danny Jones of Salina; sister, Brenda Sue Lairmore of Chelsea; 7 grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
