Cheryl Denise Stonebarger

Cheryl Denise (Nelson) Stonebarger was born January 25, 1963 in Eureka, California. Cheryl passed from this heavenly Earth on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Hillcrest hospital in Claremore, OK surrounded by loved ones. She was 60 years of age. 

Cheryl attended Arcata High School before joining the Air Force, where she served one year before welcoming her only child Billy Lee. Cheryl married the love of her life Bill on December 19, 1980 in Arcata, California. Bill and Cheryl eventually moved to Inola, Oklahoma in 2010 where she worked for Utility Tri-States for 9 years. After leaving Utility she worked for Daylight Donuts. Cheryl enjoyed spending time with family, watching the San Francisco Giants and talking about her pride and joy Asher. 

Cheryl is proceeded in death by her parents Flourilla and Roy Nelson. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bill Stonebarger of Inola, OK, Son, Billy Stonebarger and wife Rebecca of California, Siblings, Rosalee and Husband Nick Nicholson, Sister Diana and Husband Curt Fuller, Brother Homer and wife Pat Nelson and Sister Rhonda Pusch. Grandchildren, Taylor and Husband Lane of Virginia, Joseph, Sophie and Brenden of California and Cameron of Missouri, as well as Great-Grandson Asher.
