Funeral service for Christine Lavaughn Baker will be 10 a.m., Mon., Aug. 6, at the Claremore Assembly of God with Rev. Dave Mewbourne officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Pryor, under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m.
Christine died Wed., Aug. 1, 2012, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 61.
The daughter of Estle Ray and Naomi Maude (Casey) Pace was born Sept. 28, 1950, in San Fransisco, CA. Christine grew up in Point Richmond, CA, and Claremore. She was saved and baptized at First Baptist Church. In Dec. of 1977 she married Orville Leo Baker, Sr. at the Claremore Assembly of God. Christine loved to travel; and was a big football fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Christine is survived by her husband, Orville of the home; children: Shannon Trent and fiance, David Moten of Claremore, and Chad Henson and wife, Kim of Claremore; step-son, Paul Baker and wife, Diana of Claremore; brother, Jim Bachelder of Claremore; sisters: Judy Keller and husband, Charles, and Donna Biswell and husband, Duane all of Claremore; and 11 grandchildren.
