Christopher Lee Butler

July 21, 1967 — July 4, 2024

Broken Arrow

Christopher Lee Butler was an affectionate, dedicated and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. A loving son, brother, husband, father, papa, and friend has sadly passed away on July 4, 2024. Born on July 21, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chris leaves behind a legacy of hard work and love for his family.

His journey began at Daniel Webster High School, where he graduated in 1985 before embarking on his successful career in sales. A committed salesman who spent a significant portion of his life working for several reputable companies, Chris was known for his selfless nature and generous heart. Chris was also recognized as a devout Christian who lived by his principles daily.

Chris met the love of his life, Heather, in 1990 in Mannford, Oklahoma. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married August 6, 1992. Their unconditional love for one another lit up any room they went into and others aspired to have a love as strong as theirs. Chris and Heather couldn’t wait to start a family of their own, and their children meant the world to them. Josh, Jacob and Dannielle were the pride of their father.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Chris found joy in various hobbies and interests that brought him closer to his loved ones. An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners, he reveled in the competitive spirit of sports. Whether teeing off on the golf course or enjoying the lake life, Chris embraced every moment with enthusiasm. His competitive nature shone through during family gatherings where games like cornhole and washers became spirited competitions. Chris's love for music led him to showcase his singing talents at karaoke nights while creating cherished memories during many family vacations.

Chris is preceded in death by his father Earl Edward Butler Sr., mother Rose Mary Butler, and nephew Logan Butler.

Chris's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his surviving family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He is mourned by his loving spouse, Heather Butler, and their children: Joshua Butler (and wife Paige), Jacob Butler (and fiancé Morgian), and Dannielle Butler (and life partner Brett). In addition to his immediate family, siblings Earl Butler Jr., Stephanie Davis (and husband Lester), John Butler (and wife Paula), grandsons Caleb Butler and Barrett Butler. Along with several beloved nieces, nephews, and In-laws.

While we grieve the loss of Christopher Lee Butler from our lives, we also celebrate the enduring impact he had on the family and abundance of friends around him. His legacy of love, dedication, and joyful spirit will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
