Christopher "Chris" Don Hemphill

Graveside service for Christopher Don "Chris" Hemphill will be 2 p.m., Wed., May 20, at Winganon Cemetery under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Pastor Scott Barger will officiate.

Chris passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the age of 42.

Born on February 8, 1972 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Lawrence Duncan Coin and Carol Kay Miller, Chris was reared and educated in Allewue before moving to Chelsea when he was 21. A hard worker, he worked for a company that built cell towers. Chris' hobbies included fishing and cutting wood or anything that would keep him outside. He was a loyal friend to many and would help anyone in need.

Those family members that survive include his mother Carol Palmer of Chelsea; his son Bradley Garrett of Tulsa; his brothers Michael Hemphill of Catoosa and Anthony Hemphill of Langley and many other extended family members and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and his niece Amber Hemphill.
