Clyde Ervin Roberts

Funeral service for Clyde Ervin Roberts, of Chelsea, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel in Claremore. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home in Claremore on Thursday from 1-7 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Clyde passed away at his home in Chelsea on Monday, September 6, 2021. He was 70 years old.
The son of Stanley Walton Roberts and Dorothy Evelyn (Raley) Roberts was born February 11, 1951 in Chelsea. He worked at several different careers in his lifetime. He built fences, worked as an industrial painter, as a welder in Altus, Oklahoma, and his last job was as an assembly line worker at Dispensary Systems.
In his spare time Clyde enjoyed fishing, working on lawn mowers, playing bingo at the American Legion, and watching westerns on television.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and children Clyde Roberts, Jr. and Kelly Dawn Roberts.
Survivors include his wife Sherry; children Cheka Roberts, Jerome Lee Hicks, and Christy Harper and boyfriend Terry McClain; sisters Brenda Roberts and Sally Brown; as well as fourteen grandchildren.
