Private family services for Clyde Samuel "Sam" Webb were held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Roy Betz officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory.
Sam died Fri., Sept. 24, 2010, at his home at the age of 86.
The son of Harry S. and Nellie Mae (Wacker) Webb was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Claremore. He attended Claremore schools, and graduated from Claremore High School in 1942. Sam entered the Army with several of his close buddies, and served during World War II. On July 2, 1946, he married Esther Louise Hildebrand. Sam became a licensed HVAC. He owned Webb Refrigeration, retiring in 2006. Sam also worked several years as a chief engineer with the Claremore Health Center and Tulsa Post Office.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Nellie Webb; and brothers: Harry Keith and Bill Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of the home; children: Lynne Martin of Claremore, Diana Adair and husband, David of Ketchum, and Teresa Owens and husband, Greg of Claremore; grandchildren: Chris Seifried, J.R. Seifried and wife, Shannon, Jordan Thompson and husband, Jeffrey, Jess Adair, and Pam Martin; great-grandchild, Marley Seifried, Quinn Adair, and Dade Adair; and sister, Lanell Collins of Scottsdale, AZ.
