Connie Jo Moody

Connie Jo Moody, 82, of Foyil, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Visitation, where family will greet friends, will be on November 16th from 5 PM to 7 PM at MMS-Payne Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 17th at Foyil Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Clark of Foyil Baptist, officiating. Burial will follow at Wards Grove Cemetery.
Connie was born to Henry Moyle & Harriett G (McDuffee) Moyle on December 19th, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas. She went to school in St. Louis, MO & moved to Newton, KS in 1952 where she graduated from Newton High in 1955. She also went to 1 year of college at Kansas State University. She married high school classmate Kenneth B Lord & they had 3 children, Sherri,
Rich, and Robert Lord. They divorced after 19 years. Connie married the love of her life, L. Allen Moody in 1976. Shortly after marriage they moved to Foyil, Oklahoma. She did payroll and accounting for Pixley Lumber for many years. Connie grew up on a farm, was an only child, and
loved animals, nature, and the farm life. She was a lover of all things math. In her free time, she enjoyed putting together puzzles & playing dice & card games with her children and grandchildren.
Connie is preceded in death by parents, Henry & Hazel Moyle, husband, L. Allen Moody,daughter Sherri Weldon, & cousins Toni Strawhecker & Rodney Vieux.
Connie is survived by children, Rhonda Biehler & husband Chris, Rich Lord, & Robert Lord. Grandchildren Misty Jordan & husband Price, Mark Lord & wife Ashley, Ryan Lord & wife Meagan, Anthony Lord & wife Tammy, Chrisanna Lord, Marci Spielman & husband John,Christen Dake, Jesse Dake, Ashley Dake, Emily Dake, and Steven Dake & wife Jimma, Hannah
Bibb, Sadie Bibb, Mindy Mathes & husband Jason, Cassie Dussault, Tadd Dussault, cousin Queenie Mracek, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be given to Foyil Baptist Church and flowers sent to MMS-Payne Funeral home.
