Conrad Lanier Hooper

Graveside service for Conrad Lanier Hooper will be 10 a.m., Mon., July 23, at the Thorne Family Cemetery with Pastor Sam Kulp officiating. Military honors will be performed by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Conrad died Wed., July 18, 2012, at Continuous Care Center, Tulsa, at the age of 74.
The son of Jack Hooper and Elnora Aileen (Bigfeather) Thorne was born May 9, 1938, in Stilwell. Conrad served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955-58. He worked most of his life in construction. Conrad enjoyed life. He cared about his family and helping people.
He is survived by his siblings: Verna (Hooper) Noble and husband, Dick of Bixby, Herbert W. "Sonny" Thorne and wife, Marcia of Claremore, Velma (Thorne) Harris and husband, Doug of Claremore, Cheryl (Thorne) Voss and husband, Edsel of Wagoner, Sharon (Thorne) Mathson and husband, Steve of Inola, and George "Ricky" Thorne of Claremore.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: R.B. Hooper and Vernon Hooper.
