Memorial service for Henry "Curt" Pranger will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel.

Henry Curtis Pranger passed away September 30, 2012 at the age of 61.

The son of Henry and Barbara Kilpatrick Pranger was born September 18, 1951 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. At a young age he and his family moved to the Claremore area. There he attended Foyil schools. When he became of age he enlisted in the United States Army. Serving during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge he returned to the Claremore area. He then married Donna Brown. He began working for the City of Claremore, and later became a heavy equipment operator for Hickory Coal. His hobbies included playing pool, fishing, dominoes and just about anything outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed a good smoke.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Barbara, step-father, Harry Noble and wives Donna, and Mary Lou Pranger.

Survivors include his son Curtis Pranger Jr. of Pauls Valley; daughter, Meggie Brown of Lexington, brother, Dale Noble and wife Mary of Claremore; sisters, Sharan Cleek, Shirley Smith and husband Michael, Marilyn Noble and Debbie Ott and Husband Paul all of Claremore; grandchildren, Savanna Pranger, Catiltyn Carden, Lauren Guadarrama, Zack Brown, Todd Pearson, and Luke Pearson.
