Cynda Marie Baughman

Cynda Marie Baughman, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 3, 2024, just two days shy of her 68th birthday.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 5, 1956, Cynda was known as a faithful Christian throughout her life, influencing many to believe and obey the gospel. She was full of life, always at the heart of gatherings of her numerous family and friends, drawing people in with her infectious laughter and engaging personality

Cynda graduated from Catoosa High School in 1975 and took classes in fashion design at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah

Cynda was a homemaker in the truest sense, creating and nurturing a home for her family with her devoted love and generous nature. Cynda had a deep compassion for others, easily making friends wherever she went.

She loved to travel with her family and visited destinations in the United States from Alaska to Florida and from New England to Southern California, as well as international trips to the British Isles, Mexico and the Caribbean, creating treasured memories along the way.

Cynda had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She especially loved raising her voice in song to the Lord in church.

Cynda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Lee Baughman, her supportive sisters Eva Jarrett and Jayme Gastelum, as well as her devoted children: Jaycee Stuart, Dustin Kindell, and Michael James Baughman. Cynda was also a proud grandmother, cherishing her time with Tatum Rose Kindell, Gabriella Rivas, and Crosby Kindell.

She was predeceased by her father, James P. “Jim” Ling; her mother, Rose Marie “Rosie” or “Romar” Ling (Wright); and her siblings: Jay Ling, Linda Willis, and Brenda Rush. Their memories will forever be a part of Cynda's enduring legacy.

As we remember Cynda Marie Baughman, we celebrate her extraordinary spirit and the countless lives she touched during her time with us. She will be deeply missed. Her laughter, generosity, and loving heart will resonate forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
