Memorial service for Dale Gideon will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Inola. Dale Arlet Moore Gideon entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, January 12, 2020. She was 79.
Born March 29, 1940 in Newhall, California, to Earl James Moore and Phay Lorraine (Bearegard) Moore, Dale attended several schools in California, graduating in 1958. Her main career in life was taking care of her beloved family. They were her number one priority and she cared to their every need. Dale was a hard worker and when she began working at McDonalds, she started out as a crew member and with her dedication and devotion, move up to manager before retiring. She was one of the first employees to open the McDonalds in Walmart, here in Claremore, and also worked for the Owasso and Catoosa McDonalds as well.
Dale's greatest joy was her family and she loved spending time with them. She was also a long time member of the Claremore Chapter of Eastern Stars. This organization was a true passion for Dale and she cherished the friendship and time spent with these special ladies. When she found a quiet time, Dale loved to read a good book.
Those family members that survive include her husband Earl W. Gideon; her daughter Janet Rogers and husband Donn; her sons John Young and wife Teresa, Rick Gideon, Ron Gideon and wife Ann, and Allen Gideon; her brother David Moore and wife Myra; her sister Earleen Messer and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Moore and her son Jerry Lee Young.
