Funeral service for Dale Roger Willcutt will be 10 a.m., Tues., Oct. 25, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Burger officiating. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Air Force will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m.
Dale died Sat., Oct. 22, 2011, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 80.
The son of Ralph W. and Emma L. (Rowlett) Willcutt was born March 8, 1931, in Seminole. He graduated from Chelsea High School in 1950. On Dec. 21, 1962, Dale married Bertha Emma Schulze in Tulsa. Dale worked on dams throughout the country. They moved to Claremore in 1969 and Dale went to work at Hesston's, and later Allied Signal as a sheetmetal fabricator. Dale loved sports, and anything to do with airplanes. He is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Willcutt; and sisters: Kathleen Cooper, Phyllis Anderson, and Geraldine Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha of the home; children: Kevin Willcutt of Claremore, Mark Willcutt and wife, Bernadette of Wichita, KS, and Lisa Willcutt of Reno, NV; brothers: Ralph Zane Willcutt of Claremore, and Dan Willcutt and wife, Dani Jean of Pensacola; sister, Bernice Kerr of Tulsa; grandchildren: Devon Scarletto and wife, Alyssa, Megan Duran, and Kyrsten Willcutt; and great-grandchild, Emmalynn Scarletto.
