A memorial service for Dalton Gull will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Claremore First Methodist Church.
Dalton Lou Gull, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 30 leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.
Dalton was born on January 23, 1994, in North Kansas City, Missouri, to Ralph and Sue (Young) Gull. At the age of 2, his family moved to Glenpool, Oklahoma. He attended schools in Glenpool and Bixby before graduating from Broken Arrow High School in 2012. During this time he enjoyed wrestling, and playing football and rugby.
After graduation, Dalton began his professional journey, starting with Hollaway Rope, which later became Bishop Lifting. He then spent several years at CMC Recycling before finding his place at Utility Supply Company. Dalton worked there until February of this year when he retired due to health reasons.
In 2014, Dalton’s life took a wonderful turn when he met Brittany Erwin at My Gym in Catoosa. Their connection was immediate, and they began dating shortly after. The couple married on October 20, 2018, and continued to build a life together in the Catoosa and Claremore area before moving to Bartlesville.
Dalton was a man of many passions, and he dedicated much of his time to helping others. He coached his son in recreational soccer and even took on the role of coaching his little brother in football. His love for drawing, cooking, and cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs brought joy to those around him.
Dalton was the kind of person who drew people in with his larger-than-life personality. Despite his loud and exuberant nature, he had an equally immense heart filled with love for those around him. Known for his tight, heartfelt hugs and unwavering support, Dalton was a great family man who always made sure his loved ones were well taken care of.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Helen Gull, and A.J. and Norma Young, as well as his cousin, Jake Riner.
Dalton is survived by his loving wife, Brittany, and their cherished children, Abigail and Liam Gull. He is also survived by his mother, Sue Gull, and his father and stepmother, Ralph and Charlene Gull. Additionally, Dalton leaves behind his siblings, Lucas and Rod Gull, Reed and Ryan Hinton, and Hunter Splain. He will be deeply missed by his uncles and aunts, J.D. Young and wife Dawna, Bret Young, Alan Young, Ramond Gull and wife Bonnie, and Erin Gull Riner and husband John, as well as his father and mother-in-law, Doug and Kolina Erwin.
