Danny R. Price

Services for Danny R. Price will be 10:00a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Harvest Baptist Church. Danny passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 72.

Danny R. Price was born September 10, 1943 in Johnson City, Tennessee to Rodolph Massie Price, III and Kathryn A. (Nave) Price. He attended Valley High School in Tennessee with his twin sister Katie. Danny enlisted with the United States Air force and proudly served his country for two years. His work career was varied, he was a firefighter in Tennessee and later worked as a heavy equipment operator with PSO, where he retired from.

His hobbies included hunting and fishing, shooting guns and spending time with his family. Danny had a huge heart when it came to his family, he extended this love to include his wife's children and many friends he called family. He also loved his dogs, a chocolate lab named Bell, his cherished dog Gretel, he drove all the way to Missouri to get and Skippy a little chi aula.

The family remembers Danny as a hard worker and made sure his family needed nothing. He didn't know a stranger and could talk to anyone. He enjoyed time at Hugo's where he got to talk to Garth Brooks. Danny also liked to sit on his front porch in his recliner. There he would smoke a cigarette, swat flies and watch the world go by.

Those family members that survive include his wife, Bonnie of their home in Claremore; his children Shane and wife Mary Ann (named Mary Ellis by Danny), Karen and husband Josh and Jimmy; his twin sister Kathy; niece Katie and nephew Dan; his 5 grandchildren. Danny has many friends that he called his family, including his shooting buddies and his Thursday night football crew. He will be missed dearly but right now he is walking on streets of gold, awaiting our arrival.
