Chelsea

Celebration of Life services for Dennis Lee Chambers will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Life Church of Pryor. Dennis passed away peacefully at his home in Chelsea, Oklahoma, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was born on May 22, 1956, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Lee Roy and Bessie Marie (Fleetwood) Chambers. Growing up, Dennis helped in his family’s business, Superbowl Aquariums and Pet Shop. He attended Ponca City Schools and, after school, began a lifelong career in carpentry.

In 2009, Dennis moved to Chelsea to be closer to his children and grandchildren. It was in Chelsea that he met Dorinda Faull, and the two would later marry. Dennis went on to work for Jacoby Construction, which he described as the best job he ever had. He retired in 2018 after years of hard work and dedication.

Dennis was a man of many interests and hobbies. He had a deep love for hot rod cars, especially his 1978 Camaro Z28. Working on his cars brought him great joy, as did watching NASCAR and historical movies and documentaries.

Dennis was a kind, hardworking man who valued family above all else. His time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was the most precious to him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Bessie Chambers; his wife, Lisa McClain; and his sisters, Danna McMath and Linda Lancaster.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorinda Faull Chambers; his daughters, Tamera Bacon, Stacy Chambers, Michele Feathers-Hefner and husband Bucky, and Angelica Dudley and husband Josh Brackett; his son, Joseph Baker and fiancée Kelly; his grandchildren, Zachary Burnett, Kristina Burnett, Kenny Burnett, Aiden Mosher, Dalton Feathers, Will Hefner, Gavin Feathers, Kolton Feathers, Kirstin Dudley, Kalib Dudley, and Ricky Oeth; his great-grandchildren, Payton, Sadie, Jaxon, Avery, Swayzie, Gavin Jr., and Tucker; and his lifelong friend, Gary Martin.
