The family of Dianah Hale would like to invite everyone to a come and go celebration of life for her on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 4pm-8pm at The Hidden Porch, 4883 East Highway 266, Catoosa, Oklahoma 74015. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, September 15, from 2pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm-8pm. Dianah passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. She was 67 years young.
Dianah Kay Hale was born April 18, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Benjamin Lloyd and Mildred Mae (Brown) Carpenter. At the age of 6, she and her family moved to Claremore and Dianah attended school here, graduating with the class of 1973. She later married Gary Wilson and the couple were blessed with 3 children. Dianah continued her education and later began working as a speech pathologist at Claremore Public Schools for 34 years. On May 27, 1989 Dianah married Bobby Jack Hale and the couple made their home in Catoosa. Dianah was the love of Bobby’s life!
Family was everything to Dianah and she was the "Chief", a title she loved. A constant cheerleader, Dianah made sure she was involved with every aspect of her family’s activities. She was the one who would help any and everyone in need. Dianah had a tender heart for special needs children. Her humor was infectious and she was easily the life of any party. Dianah put the needs of her family and others first. She enjoyed being with her family and loved those grand kids with her whole being. Dianah found peace exploring God’s beautiful creations through nature and traveling with her husband and family.
A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Dianah will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members left behind include her husband Bobby Hale; her children Robert Eugene Wilson and wife Nancy Lee, Amee Renee Buchanan and husband Allen Dewayne, and Jenny Marie Herriven and husband Richard Edward; her grandchildren Tyler Buchanan, Lesley Cox and husband Jason, Kaylee Gardner and husband Dillon, Colton Wilson, Bryce Herriven and wife Gaby, and Gage Herriven; great grandchildren Jentry Cox, Beckham Cox and Henry Herriven; her siblings Penney Farley and Michael Carpenter. Dianah was preceded in death by her parents and nephew who she was a second mom to, Christopher Daniel Darbyshire.
