Dody passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 84.

The daughter of William and Mary Timbrook Perry was born March 1, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There she was raised, and attended Tulsa Public Schools. Graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1950. She then set out to begin her working career. Her first job was in the insurance business in Tulsa, before taking a job in Claremore working for the Rogers County Superintendent of Schools. It was while working in Claremore that she was introduced to Warren Johnston. They married in September of 1954. The newly wed couple made their home together in Claremore. With their first home being in the Bell Apartments. They would live in Claremore a short time before Warrens job moved them to Texas.

In 1966 Dody and her family moved back to Claremore, where they had purchased Claremore Abstract and Guaranty Company. This allowed Dody to devote more time to her family, and her desire to help the community. This was mostly seen through her work as a PEO, and her work in helping to establish the Rogers County Work Training Center.

In her spare time time Dody had many hobbies and past times. She enjoyed spending time at the Claremore Outing Club, playing golf, traveling, shopping, and watching her beloved Oklahoma Sooners, to name a few. There was also her lunch club, that met every Tuesday for nearly 35 years. However none of those things compared to the joy that she felt when she was with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Perry; husband, Warren Johnston and aunt Betty Perry

Survivors include her Children, Mary Kelley and husband Ben, Rebecca Johnston, and William P. Johnston and wife Margo; grandchildren, William C. "Kit" Kelley and wife Ryan, Natasha L. and Wayne H. Johnston, and great grandchildren, Emma Lee, Addyson Kitt and Kiryn Michelle Kelley, and Stella and Warren Johnston.

Memorials may be made to Rogers County Work Training Center, 725 John Burrows Dr., Claremore, Ok 74017
