Dollie Marie Scott

Visitation for Dollie Marie Scott will be 2-4 p.m., Tues., Jan. 29, at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Dollie passed away Sun., Jan. 27, 2013, at University Village, Tulsa, at the age of 90. The daughter of John Thomas and Ella Elizabeth (Preddy) Perryman was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Lindale, TX. Dollie attended school in Alluwe; and on June 13, 1942, married Jess M. Scott in Nowata. They made their home in Pecos, TX, for a short while, before moving back to the Tulsa area. They made their home in Pryor before moving to Verdigris and later Owasso where they farmed and raised cattle. Dollie and Jess were charter members of Central Christian Church in Claremore. In her spare time, Dollie enjoyed reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess in 1978; her son, Terry in 1998; her parents; and her brothers: J.P. and J.C. Perryman. Dollie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Scott of Tulsa.
