Memorial service for Donald Ray Harwood will be 10 am., Friday, June 5 at Bethel Chapel, Claremore, with Pastor Charles Conley officiating.
Donald passed away Sun., May 31, 2015, at his home at the age of 73.
The son of Dave Wilson Harwood and Chloe Ruth (Mefford) Harwood was born June 24, 1941, in Stillwater. He graduated from Kellyville High School in 1959. On May 8, 1964, Donald married Janet Hilburn in Tulsa. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
Donald retired from Sawyer in 2000 where he worked as a welder. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He served as Associate Pastor of Bethel Chapel in Claremore for seven years, and as Pastor for the last two years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Harwood; brother, Thomas David Harwood; and sister, Bonnie Asher.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janet of the home; sons: Wayne Harwood and wife, Ronda, and Kevin Harwood; grandson, Wayne Ray Harwood; and mother, Chloe Mefford.
