Donald James, known affectionately as "Mac" by his beloved wife Betty, passed away on February 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with numerous health challenges. Born on April 28, 1939, Donald leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
Donald's life was one of diverse experiences and unwavering commitment. Starting as a skilled carpenter, he built two of the four homes they lived in. He served in the Navy, earning an honorable discharge upon the passing of his father. Donald was a proud Navy veteran. Following this, he dedicated over 20 years to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol before retiring. However, retirement did not slow him down; he pursued his passion for farm life, raising cows and providing housing for those in need.

In addition to his professional achievements, Donald's generosity knew no bounds. Together with Betty, they supported numerous charitable causes throughout their marriage, embodying the spirit of giving.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 65 years, Betty, their children Timothy and Elizabeth Stierle, daughter-in-law Tracy, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister Theresa. Despite the pain of his passing, his family finds solace in the countless memories they shared with him.
