Donald Dale Moss II

Funeral service for Donald Dale "DD" Moss, II will be 2 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 21, at First Baptist Church, Inola, with Rev. Roy Shoop officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wed. 1-8 p.m, and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.

DD died Sat., Oct. 16, 2010, in Shreveport, LA, at the age of 30.

The son of Donald D. Moss and Phyllis J. (Taber) Moss was born April 9, 1980, in Claremore. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1999, and continued his education at the Pryor Vo-Tech. DD enjoyed working in ranching, but was currently employed as a heavy equipment operator/welder with Willbro Pipelining. On April 19, 2007, DD married Amber D. Madorin. He enjoyed team roping, hunting, and fishing. DD also enjoyed building spurs and bits and collecting horse tack. However his most precious time was spent with his son.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Dale Moss, Olien E. and Pansy Taber; and uncle, Mike Taber.

DD is survived by his wife, Amber of Pryor; son, Pendleton Dale Moss of Pryor; mother, Phyllis Moss of Claremore; father, Donald Dale Moss of Inola; grandmother, Verna Ruth Jolley of Corpus Christi, TX; brother, Matt Moss of Chelsea; step-daughters: Ivie Graham and Meadow Harriger both of Pryor; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pendleton Dale Moss Education Fund at First Bank Oklahoma, Inola.
